Summary

Pavel "Pasha" Talankin teaches at a small primary school in Russia and serves as the school's official videographer. When Russia invades Ukraine in February 2022, he uses his position to secretly film what's happening inside Putin's Russia.

Forced to film the very indoctrination he's exposing, Pasha creates a double record of official propaganda and hidden reality. The result is rare undercover footage captured over two years revealing daily propaganda sessions, war recruitment of graduates, and state databases monitoring compliance. He smuggled seven hard drives out when he fled Russia in 2024.

A chilling portrait of totalitarianism manufacturing its future through classrooms, revealing how Putin's regime turns teachers into propagandists and children into soldiers.
