About the Founder

I believe that learning never stops—it's a lifelong journey that shapes who we become and how we see the world.
After decades in industry, I pivoted to academia where I observed the many ways in which students of all ages consume knowledge. I embraced the opportunity to share my passion for watching documentary films with my students which was well received and led to many engaging class discussions. This experience made me realize that documentaries could be powerful learning tools beyond the classroom.
That's why I created Reelfacts.org—to build a thriving community where curious minds can discover remarkable documentaries and connect with others who share that same hunger for knowledge. This isn't just a website; it's an ecosystem designed to bridge the gap between the brilliant creators making these films and the lifelong learners eager to be enlightened by them.
Documentaries have this incredible power to open our minds, challenge our assumptions, and introduce us to stories and perspectives we might never encounter otherwise. They're windows into worlds we didn't know existed and mirrors that help us better understand our own.
This is my passion project, born from countless hours spent captivated by documentary storytelling. Because when we learn together, we grow together—and that's how we build a more understanding world, one documentary at a time.
